Our mission is to teach, emphasize, and promote safe firearm responsibility and ownership. The goal is to empower as many women and men in becoming their families' first responders.
Education is the strongest defense for what we hold dear.
Dedicated Defense LLC is a veteran-owned and family-owned business established in 2023 by husband and wife, Tammy and Cliff Patton. As trained and responsible firearm specialists, the Pattons felt compelled to offer their knowledge to other responsible firearm owners to keep our communities safe through proper education and humanistic values. Tammy and Cliff are certified instructors though both the U.S. Concealed Carry Association (USCCA) and the National Rifle Association (NRA). When you sign up for a course through Dedicated Defense, you are guaranteed a detailed, easy-to-understand and personable experience that will leave you fully equipped to handle your firearm with the utmost care and precision.
About Tammy and Cliff Patton
Tammy and Cliff Patton are a dynamic couple dedicated to their community and family. Tammy, a passionate advocate, counselor, and the first black-elected trustee in Clinton Township (elected in 2020), has made a lasting impact through her leadership. Tammy is U.S. Army Veteran, who served eight years in the military. She holds an Associate's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Eastern Gateway Community College, followed by a Bachelor's Degree in Community Service and a Master's Degree in Community Counseling from Sienna Heights University. In 2022, Tammy was awarded a certificate of completion for the Senior Executives in State and Local Government Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University, Executive Education. She also graduated from Leadership Macomb, class XXIV.
Cliff Patton is a skilled union pipefitter with two decades of experience skilled Journeymen Pipefitter and Certified Welder with Local Union 636. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Walden University. Cliff and Tammy hold a FFL license for their firearms business, Patton Arms. Family drives the Pattons; they have raised six children and fostered twelve children. Together, they run a nonprofit they founded called Team Patton Outreach.

Cancellations/Reschedules: Classes must be canceled or rescheduled at least 24 hours prior to the class date. Canceled classes will be refunded to the original form of payment as long as cancelations are made within the cancelation policy.
Michigan CPL Training

8 HOUR CLASS.
We will take you through the full process of acquiring a Concealed Pistol License through an education on the State Requirements for application, where a license is required for carrying and how to safely and legally carry your firearm out-of-state. You must be 21 years old to apply for a permit in the State of Michigan.
